This roof rack from the Italian brand Farad fits perfectly on the Tesla Model Y and allows you to transport roof boxes and the like. So you gain a lot of storage space.
It consists of 3 parts:
- 130cm long, black aluminum aerodynamic bars
- Kit PR27 for mounting on the Model Y
- Kit Link as connection between bars and the Kit PR27
Important notes: The Kit PR27 is mounted just like the original Tesla roof rack with 4x threaded adapters under the glass roof. It is very important that these are mounted in the intended places. There are small "V" markings on the glass roof for this purpose. Under these markings are metal brackets - the threaded adapter is pushed underneath and the bracket takes the load.
After insertion, make sure that the thread adapter cannot be moved more than 1 cm to the left and right - only then will it sit correctly under the metal bracket.Otherwise, the glass roof could be damaged.
