Tesla Boombox - How do I play my own sounds?

"Turn your car into a boombox and entertain a crowd with your media player when parked."

All Tesla models equipped with the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) also automatically have the Boombox. Any tones can be played through the external speaker.

All you need to play your own sounds is a USB stick. This can be a "retrofitted" (IMPORTANT: The USB stick must be formatted in ExFAT format), but also the originally supplied USB stick from Tesla, which is located in the glove compartment.

A folder with the file name Boombox must be created in the directory of the USB stick. The sounds saved in this folder can then be played later with the boombox. IMPORTANT: Currently the Tesla Boombox can only play files in the audio format .mp3 & only a maximum of 5 different ones at the same time.

On the Tesla display you can access the functions via Spielkiste > Boombox.

To make it easier to get started, we are providing you with our 5 current favorite sounds for download . Have fun trying it out!
