New Tesla record figures in the first quarter of 2023!

After the first quarter is completed, publishes Tesla now the first quarterly figures. As already suspected, the first quarter of 2023 was a complete success for Tesla. So far, the last quarter (Q4 2022) was the record quarter for Tesla. There, Tesla had delivered around 405,000 vehicles. This was a very good number, but well below expectations. The reasons were problems with logistics and falling demand.

However, Tesla was able to counteract the latter with price reductions, some of which were enormous. The price cuts seemed to be a complete success and immediately showed their first effects. Tesla was able to close the first quarter of 2023 with an increase of 36 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, there was an increase of four percent. Specifically, 422,875 Tesla were delivered, including 412,180 Model 3 and Model Y. Model S and X contributed 10,695 deliveries. In addition, Tesla claims to have produced 440,808 vehicles in the first quarter of 2023. Although all figures were new quarterly records, Tesla was not quite able to reach the expectations of analysts, which were recently fueled by the price cuts. On Wall Street, an average of 432,000 Tesla were expected to be delivered, as CNBC reports. In this respect, the sales and production figures achieved could be seen as a disappointment by investors.
