Gigafactory Grünheide ramps up Tesla production again - Elon Musk is coming!

Last Tuesday, the left-wing extremist "volcano group" carried out a terrorist attack on a high-voltage pylon, which led to a power outage and production standstill at Tesla and in the Grünheide, Erkner and Berlin region. Now there is news from the Tesla plant in Grünheide: the repairs to the power grid were carried out so quickly that production at the Gigafactory can be slowly and gradually ramped up again ahead of the planned deadline at the end of this week. Over the past few days, the grid operator Edis has been working in three shifts at the site near Steinfurt to reconnect Tesla to the grid after the fire attack on a power pole.

On Monday evening, it was then announced that the power supply to the Gigafactory had been largely restored. Plant manager Andre Thierig announced via LinkedIn at around 9:30 pm: "The power supply to the Gigafactory has been restored for a few minutes". He continued: "The measures to restart the plant are now running at full speed under all safety precautions. It will certainly take some time before we can resume full production, but the most important step has been taken! This Wednesday morning, after the controlled ramp-up of production, the first early shift was able to start production. Following a relatively spontaneous announcement, Elon Musk also arrived in person at the Gigafactory in Grünheide near Berlin to take part in a staff meeting, among other things. He also brought his son "X Æ A-Xii", or "X" for short, who was born in 2020, with him on this visit. Further talks are planned, including with the Prime Minister.
