After the recent release of the new Tesla Model 3 "Highland" recently received the long-awaited Matrix light with the 2024.2.3 software update and shortly afterwards an approval document for other models with Matrix-capable headlights (Model Y, Model 3 from the end of 2021 and the new Model S and Model X), the wait could soon be over for these models too. This is because a post by Lars Moravy (Vice President - Vehicle Engineering at Tesla California) recently appeared, suggesting that the long-awaited wish for Matrix light could soon come true. Quote: Tesla has just started rolling this out for older hardware-enabled vehicles 3/Y/S/X in Europe starting in 2024 with the 2024.8 software update. The teams have done a great job getting this underway and approved! More regions and features will follow as soon as we have received the necessary certifications.
Please note that a nationwide rollout may take some time. However, the fact is that we will receive the update in Europe in the next few weeks.
