Another two Tesla ships have arrived in Zeebrugge! Another delay for Model 3 customers?

The next two Tesla ships docked in Zeebrugge on August 17, 2022 for unloading. The Morning Chorus and the Glovis Summit arrived at the port of destination almost simultaneously yesterday. Due to the closure of the Model Y production line in Shanghai in the first two weeks of July, we can assume that these ships will only deliver Tesla Model 3s to Europe. This means that a total of three Tesla ships have been confirmed in the third quarter.

According to current observations, another six ships with Tesla vehicles appear to be on their way to Europe. The next ship we expect is the Titus on August 23rd. in Zeebrugge (currently near Gibraltar). It is followed by the Hoegh St. Petersburg, which is expected to arrive on August 28th. is expected in Zeebrugge (currently near Crete). Also on their way to Europe are the RCC Antwerp, with expected arrival on 23.08. in Koper (currently in the Red Sea), the Glovis Companion (next destination Suez Canal 23.08 - currently in the Arabian Sea), the Glovis Challenge (currently en route to Singapore). Next up could be the Glovis Sunrise (en route to Shanghai South Pier) charging Tesla for Europe.

The Swallow ACE, which took place on August 18th, is still under observation. to reach the Suez Canal. According to published insider information, three more ships are scheduled to sail for the third quarter, which need to arrive in Shanghai in the next few days to make it this quarter. These ships should primarily bring Tesla Model 3 to Europe.

Since yesterday, however, some users have been writing that their Tesla Model 3 delivery periods are jumping from the end of September to mid-October. A delivery at the beginning of a quarter is rather untypical for Tesla. There are probably delays in the ships mentioned above, which are due to arrive in Shanghai shortly. However, since the models are produced specifically for Europe, allocation to another region is not possible. Due to the alternating closure of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y production line for several weeks in July and August, this quarter is also different than usual for Europe.
