What happens to the thousands of parked Tesla Model Y at BER airport?

For several days now, the media have been talking hotly about the many closely parked Tesla Model Y parked in front of the closed Terminal 5 at BER Airport in Schönefeld. According to initial estimates, well over 3000 newly built Teslas produced in Grünheide have been parked here since December. Model Y have been parked here. Is Tesla not getting rid of its produced vehicles? Are buyers jumping ship? Are Tesla's electric cars defective? Headlines like those currently in the media.

As now the moz.de reports, there is now the answer to the many parked Tesla Model Y. Tesla parks here temporarily the variant intended for Taiwan. This is also recognizable, for example, by the license plate attachment. Presumably Tesla collects these on the empty parking lot of the BER, in order to be able to load them collected on vehicle transporters and later to ship to Taiwan. Of course, many are now wondering why Tesla does not choose the much shorter delivery route from Shanghai to Taiwan. Due to the political relationship between Taiwan and China, such deliveries are somewhat difficult or even impossible in some cases.
