Transparent charging: Tesla Supercharger in Peine with digital display panels

At the Tesla Supercharger in Peine, the probably first digital display in this form (Thanks to the sender in the TFF forum) has now been installed on Tesla's own Superchargers, which displays the current price per kilowatt hour as well as the maximum possible charging capacity at the respective location. This information is aimed in particular at non-Tesla vehicles, which do not have this information displayed directly in the infotainment system as is the case with Tesla and thus save themselves the detour via the Tesla app.

Tesla also displays a lot of other information to make charging as convenient and transparent as possible. With a membership that can be canceled monthly, third-party brands can benefit from discounted prices that correspond to a fair level. In addition, any blocking fees are clearly shown on the display to ensure that the charging stations are used efficiently and are accessible to all. The new information screens also show additional information about the Supercharger's location, such as the availability of toilets, a lounge or a café.

Of course, there is also advertising for Tesla. For anyone who wants to find out more about charging or needs help, QR codes are available that lead to charging instructions and other useful information.

Somewhat confusing for non-Tesla drivers, however, is that the price per kilowatt hour displayed at the top already refers to the price for a membership or the price for Tesla owners. This can be a little confusing for outsiders at first glance. In addition, there are currently still minor typographical errors in the units of measurement, among other things.
