There have already been several leaks in recent weeks showing the new sports seats for the Model S Plaid. Now Tesla officially unveiled the new sports seats. The new seats are not only available in the USA, but also in Europe. With a combination of racetrack-inspired upholstery, increased lateral support and premium materials, these seats promise a driving experience that is second to none. The new Model S Plaid seats are available in all familiar colors (white, black and cream).
Firm upholstery & increased lateral support
The sports seats of the Model S Plaid are not only a real eye-catcher, but also offer all the familiar functions of a sedan. The upholstery was inspired by the racetrack to provide an optimal balance between comfort and lateral support, whether on winding country roads or on the highway. Functional suede on the sides provides additional support.
Exclusive plaid composite decor in the backrest
Another highlight of the new sports seats is the exclusive plaid composite decor in the backrest. This special pattern gives the seats an unmistakable touch and makes them an eye-catcher in every Model S. In addition to its visual appeal, the plaid design also underlines the sporty character and reflects the vehicle's performance.
The familiar comfort of the Model S including adjustability, heating and ventilation
Despite the sporty design, the new sports seats offer the usual comfort. As before, they are electrically adjustable in all variants and have heating and ventilation for maximum comfort in all weather conditions.
From April 1, 2024, all new Model S Plaid models will be equipped with the new sports seats as standard. The new seats are already available in the configurator.
