Tesla Tops Charts in Europe: Model Y & 3 win in June

With the Tesla Tops Charts success in June 2025, Tesla impressively demonstrates in four European markets how strong the demand for its electric cars is. In Türkiye, Switzerland, Italy, and Ireland, Model Y and Model 3 led the sales charts – a clear sign of Tesla's continued market leadership and growing popularity in Europe.

Türkiye: Historic Victory for the Model Y

In Türkiye, Tesla achieved 7,235 registrations of the Model Y in June, leaving competitors Volkswagen T-Roc (5,037) and BYD Seal U (4,382) far behind. For the first time ever, a Tesla took the top spot in total sales – a milestone for the German manufacturer in the Turkish market.

Switzerland: Market Leadership with 17.3%

In Switzerland, Tesla also dominated the sales charts: With a market share of 17.3%, the brand was unrivaled, and the Model Y took first place with 689 units. The Model 3 also made it into the top 5, strengthening Tesla's position as a leading provider of BEVs.

Italy: More Than a Fifth Market Share

In Italy, Tesla achieved an impressive 21.4% market share – more than three times that of the second-place manufacturer BYD (5.9%). The Model Y led with 902 sales ahead of the Model 3 with 793 units. The BMW iX1 followed far behind with 320 registrations.

Ireland: Outstanding Performance with 43.5%

Most impressive was Tesla's result in Ireland, where the brand covered 43.5% of the entire new car market. The Model 3 and Model Y took first and second places with 296 and 246 units respectively. Only after that did Smart, Hyundai, and Kia follow.

Significance for the Second Half

The strong June numbers contribute to Tesla delivering over 384,000 vehicles worldwide in Q2 2025 – despite a slight decline of 13% year-on-year. For the second half of 2025, it is expected that Tesla will use the momentum in Europe to gain further market share and introduce new product variants.

Conclusion
The Tesla Tops Charts triumph in Türkiye, Switzerland, Italy, and Ireland underscores Tesla's strong position in Europe. Model Y and Model 3 set standards in terms of range, design, and performance – and drive Tesla's success in the second half of the year forward.
