Finally, the Tesla software update 2022.36.1 is available for the first Tesla owners to update. With our News from September 26, 2022 we have already given you an initial overview of the innovations. Now it is finally clear which updates will come exactly. The biggest innovation will be the revised energy consumption display, so that even more values can be displayed in detail. The new update can show exactly which consumers in the Tesla need how much electricity. In addition, the view in the pop-up window for the Tesla Superchargers has been revised so that you can see at a glance when the respective Supercharger has the most capacity. With update 2022.36.1, your Tesla can now better assess whether the doors were opened accidentally or on purpose, and Lithuanian is available as an additional language.
In addition to the points already mentioned, the new update will deactivate the autopilot at motorway junctions as soon as the Tesla is close to the end of the respective junction. Another new feature is that the brake lights start flashing dynamically in the event of severe emergency braking at speeds over 50 km/h in order to better warn the traffic behind.
Another extremely interesting piece of news is that Elon Musk announced in one of his latest tweets that Tesla Semi Truck production is now starting and the first deliveries to Pepsi are scheduled to take place on December 1st, 2022. In a comment, Elon Musk also mentions that this is the 500 miles range version.
