With Austria, Belgium, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, Tesla is expanding the Supercharger access pilot project for third-party brands to include five more countries. Previously, charging third-party electric cars was only possible in the Netherlands, France and Norway. German electric car drivers can also use the open superchargers in these countries.
However, charging an electric car from a third-party brand is not yet available at all superchargers in the countries mentioned. You can see which superchargers are part of the pilot project on the Tesla Map on the website or in the app. Billing is also done via the Tesla app, in which a payment method must first be stored. The app can then be used to select the respective charging station and start the charging process.
