Tesla has deepened its commitment to the Texas energy market through a new partnership with Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC). This collaboration marks the first cooperation between Tesla and a Texas utility under the Aggregated Distributed Energy Resource (ADER) pilot program of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
Integration of Powerwall batteries into the ERCOT grid
GVEC, a utility with over 130,000 customers in South Central Texas, has been a certified installer of Tesla-battery systems.
