Tesla announces the delivery of the one millionth Tesla in Europe!

Tesla reaches another milestone in Europe and announces that on Friday, October 20, 2023 the millionth vehicle was delivered in Europe. This milestone is not only a great success for Tesla, but also an important step towards sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility in Europe.

This achievement underscores Tesla's unwavering commitment to advancing electric vehicles and contributing to Europe's much-needed transition to sustainable energy sources. One of the most impressive aspects of this milestone is the positive impact on the environment. Tesla vehicles on Europe's roads today have already saved the staggering amount of 50 million tons of CO2 over their lifetime. This is equivalent to the emissions of 50 round-trip flights from Berlin to Los Angeles.

This milestone is not only important for the environment, but also a sign that Tesla has a strong foothold in Europe, has built a large customer base and a strong bond with European customers. This is not only due to the exciting driving pleasure Tesla models offer, but also to their durability, reliability and impressive efficiency.

The road to the millionth delivery began in 2009 with the first deliveries of the Tesla Roadster. Since then, Tesla has experienced remarkable exponential growth, delivering hundreds of vehicles every day in 2023. This success is the result of Tesla's clear goal to make electric mobility accessible and affordable to as many people as possible.

Back in 2006, Tesla formulated an ambitious master plan to cut the average price of its vehicles in half. Tesla originally began selling an expensive electric sports car that cost well over €100,000. Over the years, however, the company has managed to offer affordable and family-friendly electric vehicles that meet the needs of a wide range of new car buyers in Europe.

Between 2018 and 2023, with the introduction of the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y, the average selling price of Tesla vehicles in Europe has dropped by more than 50%. This decline is not only due to scaling, but also to breakthrough engineering and innovative manufacturing techniques that enable Tesla to offer high-quality electric vehicles at affordable prices.

An outstanding example of this approach is the Model Y, which quickly became the best-selling car in Europe. Despite the price reductions, Tesla has remained committed to manufacturing the Model Y Tesla has not compromised on quality, safety, efficiency and performance.
