Tesla adds easy way to call roadside assistance!

The Tesla app has a new feature that is now available: requesting roadside assistance directly through the app. You can find this new option in the app overview under the menu item "Service" under the sub-item "Roadside Assistance". As soon as you click on it, a submenu opens that offers you various problem categories to choose from, including "Flat tire," "Driving problems," "Recharging" and "Other.

Depending on your specific problem, another submenu will open. Let's take the "Driving problems" item as an example. Here, after selecting it, another submenu will appear with options such as "Vehicle turns off while driving", "Does not turn on/start", "Accident" or "Heating/air conditioning". Once you've selected the specific problem, you'll get an overview where Tesla provides useful quick links to roadside assistance guidelines and tips on how to restart the system.

When you click "Next," the system will determine the exact location of your vehicle, which you'll need to confirm. In the next step, Tesla asks for the type of location, e.g., "highway," "parking lot," etc. In addition, you can add optional location instructions, such as the floor in a parking garage, the direction of travel of the vehicle or access codes.

Afterwards, you will get a complete overview of all selected information, including the towing destination and the number of passengers. After you have checked this data once again, you can click on the "Request help" button.

This new feature of the Tesla app makes requesting roadside assistance easier than ever before and ensures that you get help quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
