Happy Birthday to the 10th birthday "Supercharger" and thank you for free Supercharging at all Tesla locations in Europe!
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Supercharger network in Europe, today there is reason to celebrate for all electric car fans. Today from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CEST, drivers of Tesla vehicles can charge their Tesla for free at all Supercharger stations. However, non-Tesla vehicles are also charging for free today at appropriately open Supercharger locations! In the meantime, over 70% of the Supercharger network is also open to electric cars of other brands Tesla continues to impress its customers with the reliability and ease of use at its own Tesla Superchargers. Since its launch as a pilot project in November 2021, the opening of the Tesla Supercharger network to other electric vehicles has been extended to other countries and charging stations. The unrestricted Tesla network already has over 9,200 Superchargers and 660 stations, which are now open to all electric vehicle brands. This makes it the largest fast charging network in Europe.
Tesla revolutionized the market when it opened the first six Supercharger stations in Norway ten years ago. This groundbreaking initiative laid the foundation for a network that, after 10 years, spans 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with more than 1,000 locations and more than 13,000 individual Supercharger charging points. To mark its 10th anniversary, Tesla has reduced the price of charging at its Supercharger stations to €0.00 for a full day.
