At the beginning, Tesla started with a few sales and service locations, distributed in Germany in strategically important cities. But with the growing interest in Tesla vehicles and the enormously increasing sales figures, Tesla must also constantly expand the sales and service locations. In recent years, several new locations have been added. Now, within a few weeks, three more locations have opened in Bavaria. With the Tesla Centers in Augsburg (Gersthofen), Ingolstadt (Oberhaunstadt) and Fürth (Hardhöhe), three new locations were opened at strategically important points.
The new Tesla Centers offer customers and interested parties regional access to workshop operations, vehicle deliveries, consulting, purchasing and test drives. In this context, the new location in Fürth enables local, large-scale delivery of new vehicles for the greater Nuremberg area for the first time, according to the electric carmaker. The Tesla Center Augsburg strengthens the brand's presence on the important Munich-Ulm axis, while the Ingolstadt branch specifically expands the network between Munich and Nuremberg in a northerly direction, it adds.
In addition to the Munich branches in Freiham, Kirchheim and Parsdorf, Tesla currently already operates locations in Regensburg, Nuremberg and Neu-Ulm in Bavaria, as well as the delivery center in Haag. This means that Bavaria currently has the densest Tesla network in Germany.
In the course of the Germany-wide infrastructure expansion, Tesla is pursuing the goal of increased customer proximity and local presence, especially in the areas of vehicle maintenance and deliveries of new vehicles, by opening new regional locations away from traditional sites in the German metropolitan regions, explains Tesla.
