Price for basic package drastically reduced in Canada - USA price still unclear
Tesla has surprisingly reduced the cost of the Basic Autopilot lowered! In Canada, the price of 4,000 CAD to only 1,400 CAD reduced - a massive discount of 65 %.
Whether this price reduction also applies in the USA or Europe remains to be seen. So far, the autopilot in the USA still costs 3,000 USD.
Tesla makes Autopilot cheaper - What's behind it?
Since April 2019 the Basic Autopilot is included as standard in all new Teslas. However, owners of older models had to dig deep into their pockets:
