Tesla has released App Version 4.47.5 – and although the official release notes are rather brief, the update brings numerous exciting, previously undocumented innovations. From new maintenance info to improved shop and charging functions: We summarize the key points.
Maintenance Schedule & Prices Directly in the App
With the new feature „Required Maintenance & Prices“, Tesla will now display recommended and optional maintenance tasks for your vehicle – including the respective costs.
Here's how it works:

In the app, select Service > Request Service > Maintenance.

The list is vehicle-specific and based on your previous service entries in the maintenance log.
This gives you more transparency and allows you to plan maintenance tasks better.
Tesla Shop Soon More Accessible
Previously, you had to navigate to the Tesla Shop via „Discover“ and then „Browse“. With Version 4.47.5, a direct shop button now appears in the sidebar – alongside „Recommend & Earn“ and „Discover“.
Tesla is currently expanding the shop offerings, including lumbar cushions, carbon trim strips, and Alcantara dash trim. The new button should significantly ease access in the future.
Sunrun Integration for Solar Customers
Tesla is working on a Sunrun integration in the app. Sunrun is one of the leading providers of private solar and battery systems in the USA.
Particularly interesting: Through the Tesla Electric + Sunrun Flex Plan, Texans can already benefit from fixed electricity rates, better feed-in tariffs, and automatic backup power. In the future, Sunrun features could be directly available in the Tesla app.
Wall Connector with OCPP Support
The update includes hints about the integration of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) for the Tesla Wall Connector.
This could mean:

Control of the Wall Connector (start/stop, charging profiles) via external systems.

Smart Summon Warning Can Be Disabled
Vehicles without „Actually Smart Summon“ (A.S.S.) currently display a warning message every time the summon menu is opened. With Version 4.47.5, you can permanently disable this („Do not remind me again“).
Indications of FSD test phase for new vehicles
The code also contains new strings for a possible free FSD test phase (Full Self-Driving) upon new vehicle delivery. Buyers could activate a time-limited trial offer directly at the vehicle handover – including new FSD terms of use.
