Tesla has with the latest app update 4.39.1 introduced numerous new features and improvements that will benefit both Powerwall owners and drivers of Tesla-vehicles are exciting. - Heat Mode for improved performance at low temperatures
- High Impedance Mode for special operating conditions
- New feature for installers: Rapid Shutdown (RSD) and E-Stop Wiring Test in Tesla One
There is also a new option to increase the maximum off-grid power of the Powerwall up to 15.4 kW increase.
Minor improvements in the app
In addition to the main features, the update also includes minor adjustments and improvements:
- Trip Planner Update: The function for setting the charge level is now called "Set Departure Energy" instead of "Set Battery Percentage". This indicates future features such as "Set Arrival Energy".
- Redesign of the My Home section: The overview for Tesla Energy products has been revised and offers more information, e.g. on the Wall Connector firmware.
