After the recent visual leak of the new top version of the new Tesla Model 3 the first technical details have now also been leaked. According to the leaked data, the new version of the Model 3 will have 618 hp, powered by two electric motors (dual motor), so there will not be a tri-motor version with three electric motors as hoped for, as in the Model S. The output of the front motor will remain unchanged at 212 hp, while a new motor (4D2) with 406 hp will drive the rear wheels. Despite the increase in power, the overall weight of the vehicle will remain unchanged. The battery of the new model will again have a capacity of approx. 82 kWh. Interestingly, Tesla states the range in South Korea as 430 km, indicating possibly stricter testing standards in this region.

In addition to the performance improvements, the new Model 3as previously reported, will offer a more aggressive design, sports seats and possibly a new chassis with air suspension. These features were hinted at by Tesla itself in a recently released video.
How "notateslaapp" now reports, the top version of the Model 3 will be called "Ludicrous" and is expected to be launched in May this year. Engineers from Tesla Fremont also visited Giga Shanghai, indicating close cooperation between the company's various production sites. In addition, a prototype of the new Model 3 was spotted in Germany this week, which could indicate upcoming test drives or product developments.
