How do you properly protect your Tesla from theft?

There are increasing reports of thefts from electric cars. Tesla models are now also in great demand. Unlike other electric cars, Tesla no longer has a familiar key. Tesla delivers vehicles with two so-called key cards. This allows the Tesla to be opened on the B-pillar and started by stopping at the start sensor in the center console. This method is quite secure because no signals can be intercepted and expanded like with a radio key with keyless go. With Tesla, however, it is possible to connect the cell phone to the vehicle via Bluetooth in order to be able to open and start it easily. All you have to do is have your smartphone in your pocket. The Tesla then automatically connects to the smartphone. But this is exactly where a vulnerability has emerged, because messages about stolen Teslas are piling up on Twitter and in various forums. Tesla has already been informed about this vulnerability. We would like to give you a few tips on how to protect your Tesla from the hands of strangers. It is safest if, as mentioned above, you use the key card instead of the cell phone key. If you don't want to do without it and continue to use the cell phone key, activate the "Pin to drive". Before the vehicle starts, the Tesla requires a number code that you have specified. The next step is to enable multi-factor authentication. Once multi-factor authentication is set up, every time you log into your account from a registered device, you'll need to enter credentials and verify your identity. Turn off the "passive entry" available for the Tesla Model S and Model X. If you want to protect your car even further, it is advisable to install a third-party GPS tracker. You can track the current location of your Tesla at any time independently of the Tesla app.
