Tesla enhances the off-road capabilities of the Cybertruck with the official launch of the long-awaited Terrestrial Armor Package. Now available in the USA and Canada, the package offers comprehensive protection for the underbody and vehicle sides - perfect for challenging terrain.
Protection for Key Vehicle Components
The Terrestrial Armor Package consists of two central components:

Rock Sliders: Robust side rails made of e-coated steel with durable bedliner coating. They protect the sensitive side sills from rocks, tree stumps, and other obstacles.

Body Armor: A 15 mm thick aluminum skid plate with crush-core technology protects the underbody in the battery area from hard impacts. It complements the already standard robust base armor.
High Durability and Subtle Appearance
Despite the massive protective effect, the design blends seamlessly into the appearance of the Cybertruck. For the installation of the Rock Sliders, the rear aero flap must be removed - a common step in off-road modifications.
The additional underbody armor slightly reduces ground clearance but has no noticeable impact on range. Aerodynamic factors are crucial for consumption.
