Gigafactory Berlin is now also producing the Long Range version. Production stop for 2 weeks?

There is news from the Gigafactory Berlin. As can be seen on a current drone video from last weekend (by Tobias Lindh), Tesla is now increasingly producing Tesla Model Y Long Range in addition to the well-known Model Y Performance. As with the performance variant, these are only produced in the colors white and black. As can be seen, the Long Range variant is currently apparently only produced in Grünheide with the 19 inch standard rims. However, it is currently not clear whether Tesla is pushing the long-range variant in between due to the lack of inverters for the drive unit of the performance variant or whether the further increase in production capacity in the Gigafactory Berlin is the reason.

Of course, a further increase in production capacity would be advantageous in order to relieve the Gigafactory Shanghai and deliver even more vehicles to customers, because demand is increasing unabated. In addition, there is currently information that the Gigafactory Grünheide and the Gigafactory Shanghai will soon stop production for around 14 days in order to further expand and optimize the production lines. This will further accelerate production of the popular Tesla Model Y.

According to press releases, GigaBerlin will stop operations for 2 weeks at the beginning of July to optimize production processes. The production of the #ModelY will then be accelerated significantly. pic.twitter.com/jfvIWRhPSk
