The charging unit of NRGkick is a very safe and intelligent mobile charging station for on the road and at home. The temperature of each phase pin is permanently monitored. This patented safety system excludes overheating of sockets. In addition, autonomous load management and residual current protection are integrated. The associated app offers further upgrade options. For example, charging current costs, an overview of the amount of energy charged, charging plans and charging history can be displayed and exported. The charging process itself can be planned and controlled, and the charging power can be continuously adjusted. In addition, chargeable updates to (e.g.) photovoltaic-guided charging are to be offered in the future. The charging unit optionally has WLAN, Bluetooth and the option of using a sim card as a mobile data connection when on the move.
With the NRGkick, you have the choice between cable lengths of 5 meters, 7.5 meters or 10 meters. If you choose the 5 meter or 7.5 meter variant, you will also get the wall socket included. Please note that this NRGkick is not eligible for KFW funding.

Can the wallbox also be used outside?
The wallbox is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use, as it has dust and water protection. A drive-over protection is also integrated!
Which electric cars can be charged?
All electric cars with Type2 connection.
Is it necessary to install a type A RCD switch in front of the socket to be installed ?
Yes, as a ground fault circuit interrupter is mandatory by law for all plug-in circuits, such a switch must be installed by an electrician if the NRGkick is used stationary.
